Our many publishing projects (books, anthologies, magazines/zines/newsletters), and biographies of poets and artists, primarily focused around the poetry journal Poets' Espressso Review.
What is Poets' Espresso Review?Poets' Espresso Review is a San Joaquin Delta College Writers’ Guild partnered poetry journal that includes submissions from across the globe, edited by Patricia Ann Mayorga! Originally founded as Poet's Espresso (as in Espresso-type excitement for a poet) in June 2005 by Donald R. Anderson, shortly after, joined by Nikki Quismondo/Anderson as co-editor and co-publishers. She took on most of the eye for aesthetics and he took on most of the technology to perfect what she described. The poetry newsletter was born in Stockton, California, where poets and artists wanted to share their creative works as a zine achieving their dream in being featured as local creative artists. Poets' Espresso Review now comes out tri-annually and is subscription based, of necessity after we grew beyond local distribution. Poets' Espresso Review, as the longer name made its debut in 2010 under the interim editor Stephen M. Wilson and then Patricia Mayorga, the current editor.
How much does it cost? Each issue costs $6.00 which includes the cost of shipping and mailing within the United States, and $10.00 per issue for out of country orders which includes the cost of shipping and mailing. Patricia Ann Mayorga
Passion of the River Stones Taken from Patricia Ann Mayorga's River Series The cool rushing water swept over the bareness of her feet as the river life dodged underneath over and to the sides of her small feet balancing on the smooth cool river pebbles and she had never felt this alive. She could hear the woodland life singing songs of a new day and the canopy of verdant shadows reflected and danced its presence while the dragonflies darted about her outstretched faith and she thanked God for her life and the whist lover of her dreams. |
